Our stay at The Dunstane Houses in Edinburgh was an incredible treat

When I was first in contact with my new friends at The Dunstane Houses, I had no idea what I was in for. What we got was an upscale, stylish, but still warm and homey hotel in Edinburgh.

Edinburgh IS my favorite city. It’s cozy, rich in history, and the food and drink scene is ON POINT. When we first walked in, we were greeted warmly and offered a taste of scotch. After being shown our room, we headed down to the hotel’s bar where we chatted with the staff, enjoyed a few cocktails poured by Dan, the food and beverage manager who makes a mean Matador I might add, and got a dose of the local food scene.

The next morning, we woke up and went downstairs where we had a traditional Scottish Breakfast complete with tea, blood sausage, and my personal favorite, HAGGIS.

To be honest, it wasn’t the good food, comforting drinks, or homey stylish interior that got me. It was the staff. Each and every person we spoke to was so hospitable and kind. They were all people I wanted to bring out with me on the town.

Hey Shug Dunstane Houses

Thank you so much to The Dunstane Houses for having us during our stay in the amazing Edinburgh. Although this post was sponsored, all opinions are my own. We will definitely return! Over and over again!
