24 hours in Inverness, Scotland

We spent 24 hours in Inverness. Was it enough? Of course not. Was it worth the trouble of unpacking and packing that quickly? Hell yes. Tucked up north on the coast in Scotland, Inverness is a charming town known by Outlander Fans and Travelers Alike. After traveling to Scotland last may, I just had to bring my mom back. We spent our first night at a pub, drinking local beer and listening to traditional Scottish music. The second night was quite similar and was definitely an amazing moment for me and mom to experience.

Hey Shug in Inverness

We stayed at an Airbnb right across the bridge from the center, which was perfect because it was quiet and just out of the way, but we could walk to all of the special pubs and castle. For beers, and live, traditional music, we headed to Gellions Bar which is coincidentally the oldest pub in Inverness!
